Guwahati: BJP in Assam has barred fashioned secretaries from contesting the next 365 days’s assembly polls.

Assam unit BJP president Ranjeet Dass used to be re-elected because the party president for second term in January this 365 days. He has announced the brand new workforce of officer bearers.

Ruling BJP in Assam is targeting to dangle 100 plus seats in the assembly polls slated for early subsequent 365 days.

BJP has 61 MLAs whereas its allies Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) and Bodoland Peoples Front (BPF) had received 14 and 12 seats respectively in assembly polls in 2016.

In 2016 assembly polls All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) proper received 13 seats. Congress had 25 MLAs in 2016, later one resigned from congress and contested from BJP and received.
